KatadataOTO – Toyota Veloz Hybrid officially began a long journey in an event titled Veloz Hybrid EV Lintas Nusa. The journey started from the Mandalika circuit, West Nusa Tenggara (NTB).

The long journey of the Toyota Veloz Hybrid will be driven in a relay by 11 national media outlets.

This activity will serve as a testament to the vehicle's ability to handle various road terrains.

The Toyota Veloz Hybrid will travel through routes ranging from coastal roads, mountains, urban areas, to the countryside.

It was stated that the expedition is in line with Toyota's commitment and consistency. Especially in presenting a mobility solutions ecosystem.

“The 2025 Veloz Hybrid EV Lintas Nusa journey is a form of our appreciation for Indonesian families. We want to show that Toyota's Hybrid technology is efficient, tough, and relevant in various Indonesian road conditions,” said Jap Ernando Demily, Marketing Director of PT Toyota Astra Motor (TAM) in Mandalika (02/12).

Debuting at the GJAW 2025 event, the Toyota Veloz Hybrid captured the attention of exhibition visitors. The MPV sparked the curiosity of many people.

As a family vehicle, this new Toyota MPV offers comfortable, fun, responsive, and fuel-efficient mobility.

It was further stated that the Toyota Veloz Hybrid is suitable as a travel companion for both daily commutes and long-distance journeys.

The Toyota Veloz Hybrid is expected to travel for up to 50 days. Its mission is to prove the quality, durability, and reliability of a product.

The travel route itself is quite challenging, starting from Lombok, Bali, and Banyuwangi. It then continues to Bromo, Yogyakarta, Bandung, and Jakarta.

Then the car continues to the island of Sumatra, passing through Palembang, Jambi, Bukittinggi, to Lake Toba.

Meanwhile, the traveling team will explore natural tourism and culinary delights. As a form of cultural diversity, local wisdom, and community lifestyle.

The journey will also visit several official Toyota dealers. It is said that this Japanese brand already has 363 official outlets.

The Lintas Nusa program itself was conducted 30 years ago. At that time, it was called Kijang Lintas Nusa 1995.

No less than 50 units of the red and white Kijang Super took part in the 36-day journey, covering a distance of 6,000 kilometers.
