KatadataOTO – After a year of waiting, HMID (Hyundai Motors Indonesia) has officially launched the STARGAZER Essential Tech. They did this at the IIMS (Indonesia International Motor Show) 2025.
The product is a suitable choice for families, especially those looking for a four-wheeled vehicle for the 2025 Lebaran homecoming. Moreover, the Hyundai STARGAZER Essential Tech comes with several modern features that support driving safety and comfort, namely Hyundai SmartSense and Hyundai Bluelink.
For your information, Hyundai SmartSense on the Hyundai STARGAZER Essential Tech consists of several features. For example, HBA (High Beam Assist), FCA (Forward Collision-Avoidance Assist), DAW (Driver Attention Warning), LKA (Lane Keeping Assist), LFA (Lane Following Assist), and RCCA (Rear Cross-Traffic Collision Avoidance Assist).
There are also BCA (Blind-Spot Collision Avoidance Assist), SEW (Safe Exit Warning), EPB (Electronic Parking Brake), as well as Auto Hold & Rear Disc Brake. Thanks to the inclusion of these features, driving the Hyundai STARGAZER Essential Tech will be more enjoyable.
As for Hyundai Bluelink, it allows users to connect their smartphone to the car. This enables drivers to easily access various functions remotely.
As a reminder, the available Hyundai Bluelink features include Remote Engine Start & Climate Control. This functions to start the engine and adjust the temperature before getting into the car.
Then there is Find My Car & Stolen Vehicle Tracking, to track the vehicle in real-time. It is also supported by Geofence & Speed Alert, whose function is none other than to keep the vehicle within a predetermined area.
The features above are made more complete with the presence of a Rear View Monitor. It is very useful for easier parking maneuvers and safer driving.
On the other hand, the Hyundai STARGAZER Essential Tech retains the advantages of previous variants of this futuristic-looking low MPV. Such as in terms of exterior appearance.
It still features a one-curve design with a Horizontal LED DRL. Claimed to be inspired by Indonesia's equator line.
This new Stargazer variant is also still equipped with 16-inch Diamond Cut Alloy Wheels. Besides looking sporty, it is believed to enhance the vehicle's agility.
