KatadataOTO – Although it has only recently arrived in Indonesia, BYD has received a positive response from the public. This is evident from its high sales figures since its debut in mid-2024.
Based on Gaikindo data, BYD has sold at least 11,654 units from July to November 2024. This number is enough to place the manufacturer in the 11th position of best-selling manufacturers in Indonesia and to capture 1.4 percent of the total car market.
From these records, one of the most sought-after cars is the BYD Atto 3. This model has a length of 4,455 mm, a width of 1,875 mm, and a height of 1,615 mm. Its wheelbase reaches 2,720 mm with a ground clearance of 175 mm.
The BYD Atto 3 Superior type is equipped with a Blade Battery with a capacity of 60.48 kWh for the Extended Range type. Thanks to this, the vehicle can travel up to 480 km on a single charge.
Meanwhile, its powertrain uses a permanent magnet synchronous motor capable of delivering 174 hp and 310 Nm of torque. Thanks to this, the car can reach a speed of 100 km per hour from a standstill in 7.3 seconds, while its maximum speed is 160 km per hour.
Looking at the official website, the price of the BYD Atto 3 Superior is Rp 515 million. This figure is certainly not cheap for some people.
However, by checking marketplace sites, people can already find a used BYD Atto 3 Superior type. The electric car, which is only a few months old, is being sold at a more affordable price.
The description states that the unit is priced at Rp 475 million. This means the used BYD Atto 3 Superior type has depreciated by 40 million compared to the new price.
Although it has already depreciated, the dealer still provides convenience by offering several credit packages. Thanks to this, customers can adjust according to their individual financial capabilities.
One of the packages they offer is a down payment (TDP) of Rp 115 million and installments of around Rp 12 million for 47 months. However, customers can still make adjustments if they have slightly different calculations.
