KatadataOTO – Since its launch last year, the BYD M6 has become one of the best-selling electric cars in Indonesia. Based on Gaikindo data, its sales in June 2025 have reached 844 units.
The high sales figures indicate significant public interest in the model. Moreover, various advantages have been incorporated to provide comfort to its users.
The interior of the BYD M6 already uses Ambient Lights in the door area to give a luxurious impression. In addition, the entertainment features are quite complete with the presence of wireless Android Auto and Apple CarPlay.
BYD has equipped it with two battery options with capacities of 55.4 kWh and 71.8 kWh. Thanks to this, the car can travel a distance of 420 km to 530 km on a single charge.
Not only that, the vehicle is also equipped with various safety features such as an ABS braking system with EBD, electronic stability control (ESC), and 6 airbags. These features ensure safety and peace of mind for the family while driving.
However, for customers who want to get a car at a cheaper price, a used unit can be an option. A dealer in the Setia Budi area is now offering a Superior type used BYD M6.
They claim that the car is in good condition and was maintained at an official workshop by the previous owner. In fact, the description states that the unit has only been used for 7,000 km.
The dealer also guarantees that the unit has not been in a major accident or flood, so the buyer can have peace of mind in the transaction. Customers are also allowed to conduct an inspection to be more certain.
To get it, customers only need to pay Rp 342 million, or Rp 81 million cheaper than the new price. Based on the official website, the BYD M6 Superior 7-seater is priced at Rp 423 million.
Various conveniences have also been provided, such as attractive credit packages. A credit option is available with installments of around Rp 7.3 million for 47 months with a down payment of Rp 126 million.
Another option is a down payment of Rp 93 million and installments of around Rp 7.5 million for 59 months. With this, it is hoped that people can be more comfortable in purchasing the vehicle.
