KatadataOTO – The Indonesian National Police is conducting a major reshuffle. One of the prominent names is Komjen Dedi Prasetyo.
He was appointed as the new Deputy Chief of the Indonesian National Police (Wakapolri). Dedi was promoted to replace Komjen Ahmad Dofiri, who is entering retirement.
Citing the official LHKPN page of the KPK on Wednesday (06/08), Komjen Dedi Prasetyo is recorded as having assets totaling Rp 11.1 billion.
From the amount above, it is divided into several instruments. The new Deputy Chief's largest assets are in land and buildings.
Dedi reported five plots of land spread across Madiun, Tangerang, to Surabaya. Their value is estimated to reach Rp 8.6 billion.
Furthermore, Komjen Dedi Prasetyo is also recorded as having three cars and two motorcycles in his private garage.
The details include a 1998 Toyota Land Cruiser. The new Deputy Chief's car was self-acquired and is valued at Rp 400 million.
Next, he owns a Mitsubishi Pajero Sport. This four-wheeled vehicle was manufactured in 2017, self-acquired for Rp 190 million.
Komjen Dedi Prasetyo's last car is a Honda CR-V. Purchased in 2019 and self-acquired, the new Deputy Chief bought it for Rp 250 million.
Besides four-wheeled vehicles, Dedi also reported a 2017 Honda Vario. Like his other vehicles, it was self-acquired and is valued at Rp 7.5 million.
The new Deputy Chief's last motorcycle collection is a Yamaha WR155R. It was self-acquired and has an estimated value of Rp 30 million.
In addition to the assets above, Dedi also reported other movable assets valued at Rp 320 million. Then, cash and cash equivalents of Rp 1.2 billion.
So, in total, the assets of Komjen Dedi Prasetyo reported to the KPK amount to Rp 11.1 billion.
For your information, the appointment of Komjen Dedi Prasetyo as Deputy Chief of Police is stated in the National Police Chief's Telegram Letter (STR) Number ST/1764/VIII/KEP./2025 dated August 5, 2025, signed by the Assistant for Human Resources to the National Police Chief, Police Inspector General Anwar.
Dedi previously held the position of General Supervision Inspector (Irwasum) of the National Police. Meanwhile, the position he left was filled by Police Commissioner General Wahyu Widada.
“Job transfers are a natural process within an organization as a form of refreshment, career development, and fulfillment of organizational needs,” said Police Inspector General Sandi Nugroho, Head of the National Police's Public Relations Division, to Antara.
Sandi stated that a total of 61 Indonesian National Police personnel were transferred by the National Police Chief on this occasion.
