VinFast VF 3 Electric Car Priced at around 200 Million Rupiah at IIMS 2025

KatadataOTO – Vinfast Indonesia officially launched their third electric car in the country. This was done at the IIMS (Indonesia International Motor Show) 2025 exhibition.

The presence of this environmentally friendly four-wheeled vehicle quite captured the attention of visitors at JIExpo Kemayoran, Jakarta.

This is because this EV (Electric Vehicle) offers an iconic design with a petite form.

“The VF 3 is our commitment to consumers in Indonesia to provide an environmentally friendly vehicle," said Pham Sanh Chau, CEO of VinFast Asia on Thursday (13/02).

He stated that their new electric car has received a positive reception when launched globally.

Therefore, Pham Sanh Chau hopes the VinFast VF 3 can achieve the same results when it hits the roads in Indonesia.

"When it was first introduced, it recorded pre-orders reaching 27,469 units in 66 hours globally,” he stated.

The VinFast VF 3 itself has already been marketed in several countries. Especially for markets in the Southeast Asian region.

It should be noted, the Vinfast VF 3 is a petite-sized electric car with two doors. Its capacity can accommodate five adults inside.

Regarding the dimensions of the VinFast VF 3, it has a length of 3.1904 mm, a width of 1.679 mm, and a height of 1.652 mm.

At its core, the EV is equipped with an LFP (Lithium Iron Phosphate) battery with a capacity of 18.64 kWh.

The aforementioned power storage offers a range of up to 215 km on a single charge.

“This is a compact EV that prioritizes a lifestyle-supporting design, and offers the comfort of being an electric vehicle,” he continued.

Then, the new VinFast electric car is equipped with the CCS 2 fast charging feature. Charging from 10 to 70 percent only takes 36 minutes.

It should be noted, the VinFast VF3 is marketed in several color options. Such as Jet Black, Infinity Blanc, Crimson Red, and Zenith Grey Vinfast.

Furthermore, there are also premium two-tone color options, Summer Yellow, Urban Mint, Sky Blue, and Rose Pink.

Consumers who intend to own this EV can already place an order at the IIMS 2025 exhibition.

It should be noted, the price of the VinFast VF 3 is around Rp 227 million. That amount is the OTR (On The Road) price for the Special Capital Region of Jakarta.
