KatadataOTO – Vinfast Indonesia once again enlivened the GIIAS 2025 event with an innovative approach. The Vietnamese manufacturer held a stunning collaboration with a renowned local designer.

The collaboration blended two cultures, namely Indonesia and Vietnam. This was expressed in the work used for the ushers' attire.

As a result, Vinfast successfully won two awards at once at the GIIAS 2025 automotive exhibition. The awards include Favourite Booth Passenger Car 450 – 750 sqm.

Then, the Favourite Booth Best Collaboration with IKAT Indonesia was won by Vinfast Indonesia.

“We are honored to receive these two awards at GIIAS 2025. We will continue to innovate and build a strong relationship with Indonesian consumers,” said Kariyanto Hardjosoemanto, CEO of Vinfast Indonesia, in a press release quoted on (06/08).

He further explained that the collaboration with Didiet Maulana was to blend innovation and culture.

Meanwhile, the product diversity shows Vinfast's commitment in supporting Indonesia's transition to electric mobility.

At the Vinfast Indonesia Booth at GIIAS 2025, their ushers were seen wearing unconventional attire.

Because they wore traditional Vietnamese attire made using ikat materials and techniques, resulting in a stunning creation.

Located in Hall 2, ICE BSD City, Vinfast showcased its flagship products. There were the VF 3, VF 5, VF 6, VF 7, and VF e34 models.

The lineup of electric cars on display is said to be able to meet the needs of all levels of Indonesian society.

Then there were several vehicles with thematic displays that attracted attention. Such as the VF 6 unit with a tempting Lilo & Stitch theme.

Then, the VF 7 electric car was wrapped in a Fantastic Four theme. This superhero character was of course inspired by Disney.

Vinfast Indonesia also did not just showcase the various advantages of its flagship electric cars. They also held an inspiring public discussion space.

This discussion, named VIN Talks, featured Gita Wirjawan as a national figure. The event's discussion topics included the importance of STEM education, the demographic bonus, and cross-sector collaboration.

Through the various innovations above, Vinfast Indonesia aims to build trust in the national market. Their own approach is considered inclusive, creative, and collaborative.
