KatadataOTO – Volvo is heating up the hybrid car market competition. They have recently launched a new product for consumers in Indonesia.
Without holding back, the Swedish manufacturer is immediately offering three new hybrid cars.
They are The Refreshed Volvo XC60, a facelifted version of the XC60 Plug-in Hybrid Electric Vehicle (PHEV).
Then there are also the Volvo XC60 MHEV and the XC90 MHEV, featuring mild hybrid technology.
"We are now updating the facelifted XC60. Because Volvo's refreshments are simple and minor, but internally, even though the engine is the same, there are developments," said Ilham Suryo Aldianto, Product Planning Analyst for Volvo Car Indonesia in Jakarta, on Thursday (16/10).
Ilham explained that there are a number of refreshments on The Refreshed XC60, such as in terms of exterior appearance.
They have fitted a new front grille on the hybrid car, which is claimed to be inspired by the shape of the XC90's.
In addition, Volvo has also given a darker accent to the taillights, presenting a sporty and dynamic impression.
Inside the cabin, The Refreshed XC60 is equipped with an 11.2-inch head unit, already integrated with Google and supported by the Qualcomm Snapdragon Cockpit.
Various modern features are also included in all of Volvo's new hybrid cars, such as the Blind Spot Information System (BLIS), a 360-degree camera, and Collision Avoidance.
"Electrification is not just about technology, but also about accessibility and meaningful change," said Yoshiki Terawaki, President Director of Volvo Car Indonesia.
Yoshiki hopes that these three Volvo hybrid cars will be well-received by the public in the country.
Especially since they offer two technology options, namely PHEV and Mild Hybrid, so it can be tailored to consumer needs.
"We are giving more Indonesians the opportunity to experience the benefits of electric mobility that suits their style," said Yoshiki.
Finally, he stated that Volvo is committed to always presenting safe four-wheeled vehicles.
That are also comfortable for owners to drive and friendly to the surrounding environment.
Moreover, they offer various guarantees, such as a vehicle warranty for three years or 100,000 km.
