KatadataOTO – Volvo Cars Indonesia is participating in the Gaikindo Indonesia International Auto Show (GIIAS) 2025. They are showcasing a number of their flagship lineups in the country.

Also featured is Volvo's range of electrified cars, which includes electric vehicles (EV) and plug-in hybrid electric vehicles (PHEV).

Volvo stated that their participation in GIIAS 2025 is hoped to reflect the company's strategy in presenting inclusive and responsible premium mobility.

They acknowledge that the automotive industry is currently facing a number of challenges. For that reason, Volvo has announced new prices for six of its vehicle models.

“We hope the new, more competitive prices will open up opportunities for those who have long been considering Volvo Cars to finally make it a reality,” said Yoshiki Terawaki, President Director of Volvo Cars Indonesia in Tangerang, on Wednesday (23/07).

The price of the Volvo EX30 Plus electric car, which was previously around Rp 1.29 billion, has been reduced to Rp 1.1 billion.

Then, the price of the EX40 Pure Electric was also cut from Rp 1.5 billion to Rp 1.28 billion.

A similar price reduction was applied to one of their lineups, the Volvo EC40 Pure Electric, now priced at Rp 1.28 billion.

Next is Volvo's PHEV model, the XC60. Its price has dropped from Rp 1.85 billion to Rp 1.59 billion.

Volvo's newest model, the XC90 PHEV, also saw a price reduction from Rp 2.75 billion to Rp 2.4 billion.

During the GIIAS 2025 event, Volvo is offering several programs for consumers, such as test drive sessions for its electrification lineup, workshops, and community events.
