KatadataOTO – The PHEV (Plug-in Electric Vehicle) Volvo XC90 facelift officially launched in Indonesia today. The model received a number of refreshments on its exterior.

The Volvo XC90 is here to fill the premium eco-friendly SUV segment, sold at a price of IDR 2.75 billion.

“With a focus on trust, transparency, and innovation, we will continue to deliver a premium automotive experience that meets the needs and expectations of our customers,” said Yoshiki Terawaki, CEO of Volvo Car Indonesia in South Jakarta, Thursday (17/04).

In addition to the exterior design, various features on the vehicle have also been updated to enhance driving comfort and safety.

In the entertainment sector, for example, there is an 11.2-inch head unit integrated with the infotainment system. The system already supports Apple CarPlay and voice commands.

On this screen, the driver can also control several features such as driving modes. There is a Pure mode that offers an electric car-like driving experience and is claimed to be more environmentally friendly.

Speaking of safety features, the Volvo is equipped with Volvo Pilot Assist to help the vehicle avoid various potential collisions and accidents.

Comfort is supported by the use of optional and adaptive air suspension, which adjusts to road conditions to offer a stable driving experience.

The air suspension can be lowered by up to 20 mm, or raised by 40 mm when tackling more extreme road terrain.

Meanwhile, performance is supported by a 2,000 cc engine combined with a T8 recharge PHEV system and a 19 kWh capacity battery.

Thanks to the 19 kWh battery, the car can travel up to 70 km on a single charge without the help of the combustion engine.

The pop-up store is open to the public from 13:30 to 22:00 WIB during its operational days.

Located in a strategic location, it is hoped that it can reach consumers in the premium segment who are looking for an alternative eco-friendly luxury vehicle.
