KatadataOTO – Ducati is teasing racing bike enthusiasts at the start of 2025, as the Italian manufacturer has just launched a new product.
Ducati Panigale V4 7G is officially on the market for consumers in the country. It is claimed to carry the DNA of the bikes belonging to Francesco Bagnaia and Marc Marquez.
“Every year since 2020, the Panigale V4 has continuously undergone changes that follow the development of bikes in MotoGP,” said Dito Mulyawadi, Aftersales Director of Ducati Indonesia in South Jakarta on Saturday (08/02).
Dito stated that the new Ducati motorcycle offers a number of refreshments, from its design, features, ergonomics, and electronics to improvements in its aerodynamics.
The headlights are now sharper and Full LED, giving a sporty and fierce impression when ridden by the owner.
Furthermore, the Ducati Panigale V4 7G is also equipped with a new fairing, which is claimed to reduce aerodynamic drag by up to four percent.
The more set-back fairing design makes the moge (big bike) more agile when ridden by its owner on the road or the track.
As for the engine, the Ducati Panigale V4 7G is equipped with a 1,103 cc V4 Desmosedici Stradale four-cylinder engine, paired with a six-speed manual transmission.
It is said to produce up to 216 hp at 13,500 rpm, while peak torque reaches 120.9 Nm at 11,250 rpm.
“Its performance can be increased to 228 hp using a Ducati Performance racing exhaust by Akrapovic,” Dito continued.
A number of modern features are also embedded in the Ducati Panigale V4 7G, such as DTC (Ducati Traction Control), DPL (Ducati Power Launch), and DVO (Ducati Vehicle Observer).
Moving to the braking system, it features Brembo calipers, providing a greater sense of safety for riders.
The front suspension uses Ohlins upside-down forks, while the rear uses a monoshock from the same brand.
The entire suspension of the Ducati Panigale V4 7G can be adjusted electronically, allowing it to be tailored to the rider's needs.
This is done to provide the best riding experience for Ducati motorcycle fans in the country.
“The price for the standard Ducati Panigale V4 7G is around Rp 1.1 billion, while the S variant is around Rp 1.3 billion OTR (On The Road) Jakarta,” Dito concluded.
