The KPK announced it recently seized a motorcycle from Ridwan Kamil's house in connection with an alleged corruption case at Bank BJB.

KatadataOTO – The name Ridwan Kamil continues to be in the public spotlight. Previously, he was rumored to have had an affair with Lisa Mariana.

Recently, the former Governor of West Java has been implicated in alleged corruption at Bank BJB. Even the KPK (Corruption Eradication Commission) has seized a number of items from his house.

“Currently, the electronic evidence is in our laboratory and we are processing it first,” said Asep Guntur Rahayu, Director of Investigation at the KPK, to Antara on Saturday (12/04).

Then Asep also explained that his party also took Ridwan Kamil's motorcycle. However, he did not specify what type of two-wheeled vehicle they seized.

“It was a motorcycle, I don't remember the brand,” Asep affirmed.

Ridwan Kamil is also said to be summoned by the KPK in the near future. This is to confirm the evidence.

For your information, on Monday, March 10, 2025, the KPK searched Ridwan Kamil's residence in connection with the investigation of the alleged corruption case at Bank BJB.

In the same case, investigators have named five suspects. Such as Yuddy Renald, President Director of Bank BJB, and Widi Hartoto, Commitment-Making Officer and Head of the Corsec Division of BJB.

Additionally, there are Asikin Dulmanan, controller of the Antedja Mulatama and Cakrawala Kreasi Mandiri agencies; Suhendrik, controller of the BSC Advertising and Wahana Semester Bandung Ekspress agencies; and Sophan Jaya Kusuma, controller of Cipta Karya Sukses Bersama.

The five individuals above were named as suspects under Article 2 paragraph (1) or Article 3 of Law Number 31 of 1999 concerning the Eradication of Corruption Crimes as amended by Law Number 20 of 2001 in conjunction with Article 55 paragraph (1) item 1 of the Criminal Code (KUHP).

KPK investigators estimate that the state losses due to the alleged corruption at Bank BJB involving Ridwan Kamil's name reached Rp 222 billion.

As a reminder, according to Ridwan Kamil's LHKPN (State Officials' Wealth Report) filed in February 2024, he is listed as owning five motorcycles.
