Introducing a debut model at IIMS 2025, Maka Motors offers peace of mind to its prospective customers.
KatadataOTO – Newcomer Maka Motors joins the excitement at the IIMS 2025 automotive exhibition, presenting their debut model, the Cavalry. To attract consumer interest, the manufacturer guarantees aftersales services for prospective buyers.
Considering there are still concerns, especially for consumers accustomed to conventional motorcycles.
First, Maka Motors provides free charging station services for owners, available at five Maka Motors showroom locations: Radio Dalam, Depok, Bekasi, Kelapa Gading, and Gading Serpong.
“Users can charge for free as a start,” said Ghalila Gumai, Chief Marketing Officer of Maka Motors at IIMS 2025, on Thursday (20/2).
According to him, the fast charging service is actually intended for emergency situations only. Because, the claimed range of Maka Motors' product is 160 km on a single charge, which is sufficient for city use.
Ghalila revealed that this range is sufficient to accommodate daily trips of 30 to 40 kilometers.
Then, in addition to service and spare parts needs, there is the Maka SOS service. If a motorcycle owner experiences problems on the road, they can contact the 24-hour call center.
“Then there is the home service. Owners can schedule with a service advisor upon request, and the Maka Motors mechanic team will come to the (customer's) home to perform service, especially for minor services,” Ghalila affirmed.
Regarding the SOS service, he revealed that Maka Motors Cavalry owners do not need to make any payments during the first year.
As for the home service, customers only need to pay the technician's travel fee, which is said not to be too burdensome.
However, it should be noted that the home service is limited to minor services only. If there are issues, such as with the battery, it is recommended to bring the unit to the nearest showroom so it can be repaired with adequate tools.
By the end of the year, Maka Motors is committed to opening at least 19 showroom locations in the Jadetabek area.
For your information, the Maka Cavalry is priced at Rp 35.8 million on the road in Jakarta. Orders can be placed at IIMS 2025, which runs until February 23.
