Maka Motors is offering a special daily rental program for its Maka Cavalry electric motorcycle. Here are the details.
KatadataOTO – The adoption of electric motorcycles in Indonesia is slowly growing in the era of electrification. These environmentally friendly two-wheeled vehicles are increasingly seen on the streets and used by online motorcycle taxi drivers or ojol.
The model from Maka Motors, the Maka Cavalry, is said to be increasingly popular in various cities across Indonesia, indicating positive public trust in the brand.
Not only offering a capable vehicle, Maka Motors also pays attention to the support and after-sales services that are a concern for many consumers.
Thus, the Maka Cavalry can meet the needs of ojol drivers and their daily activities.
“This widespread adoption shows that this Indonesian-made electric motorcycle meets the most fundamental market needs such as range, performance, durability, and comfort,” said Raditya Wibowo, CEO and Founder of Maka Motors, quoted from an official broadcast on Friday (29/08).
To become more widely known to the public, Maka Motors has prepared a program with a competitive daily rental fee for the Maka Cavalry electric motorcycle of Rp 70,000 per day.
Beyond just the motorcycle unit, ojol drivers are also entitled to use a range of other facilities such as fast charging at all Maka Motors showroom locations.
Then there is a 24-hour emergency service for one year, free routine maintenance for three years, and insurance coverage.
The registration process is easy; ojol drivers only need to prepare identity documents such as an active KTP (ID card) and SIM C (motorcycle license) and then follow the verification process.
The program is expected to make it easier for the public to try the Maka Cavalry electric motorcycle unit directly.
“The use of this motorcycle has expanded to various segments and has become a mainstay for many people, from the general public, companies, government agencies, to online motorcycle taxi drivers,” Raditya affirmed.
For your information, the Maka Cavalry is equipped with a 4 kWh battery, allowing the motorcycle to travel 160 kilometers on a single charge.
The power output reaches 12 hp, while the peak torque is 242 Nm. Acceleration from 0-60 km/h can be achieved in just 4.8 seconds.
There are two riding modes that can be selected according to the driver's needs, such as Hi-Torque and Hi-Regen.
Hi-Torque is claimed to provide a comfortable and powerful throttle response. Meanwhile, if you want to be more energy-efficient, the driver can activate Hi-Regen.
If interested, the Maka Cavalry electric motorcycle is offered at a price of Rp 35.85 million on the road in Jakarta.
