KatadataOTO – Honda is increasingly aggressive in marketing electric motorcycles. Recently, they launched a new electric vehicle (EV) named UC3.

The presence of this two-wheeled vehicle further completes the electrification lineup from this Japanese manufacturer.

Reporting from the official Honda Global website on Saturday (10/01), the Honda UC3 is a product equivalent to a 110 cc gasoline-powered motorcycle.

“The Honda UC3 presents a new, unique value for electric vehicles, while maintaining the level of quality and safety,” they wrote.

In terms of appearance, this Honda electric motorcycle has a quite unique and futuristic design. The front features an LED headlight, combined with a Daytime Running Light (DRL) that extends from the left to the right side.

Then there is a small windshield similar to the Honda PCX 160. Below it, there is a charging port.

As for the powertrain, the Honda UC3 is equipped with a drive motor producing 6.0 kW or the equivalent of 8.0 hp. The peak torque reaches 22 Nm.

Thanks to this motor, the Honda UC3 offers a maximum speed of up to 80 km per hour, which is claimed to be sufficient for urban needs.

Additionally, it features an LFP battery with UNR136 and IP67 standards. The charging time from zero to 100 percent takes about nine hours.

However, owners need not worry as it is equipped with a fast-charging feature. This makes the charging time 50 percent faster.

To support urban mobility, the Honda UC3 electric motorcycle has a range of up to 122 km on a single charge, based on WMTC testing.

The manufacturer with the flapping wing logo also includes three riding modes: Standard, Sport, and ECO. These can be adjusted to the owner's needs and riding style.

Moreover, the Honda UC3 is also equipped with a reverse mode, allowing the rider to back up the Honda UC3 easily.

In addition, there are several other modern features embedded in the Honda UC3, such as a five-inch TFT instrument panel.
