Motul 300V Ester Core Launched at Mandalika Circuit

KatadataOTO – PT Motul Indonesia Energy (MIE) has officially launched its newest product in the country. What makes it special is that the launch ceremony was held at the Mandalika circuit, Lombok, West Nusa Tenggara (NTB) on Friday (16/05).

Motul 300V lubricant uses Ester Core technology. Inspired by the world of racing, they then formulated an oil that can be used for daily driving.

On the race track, the oil's function is to protect the engine optimally. Even when the engine is pushed to its maximum for a long time.

These conditions are considered quite extreme, but are also not uncommon on the congested streets of large cities.

Motul 300V has also proven its ability to improve performance. Through special testing, this oil can boost engine power.

“300V is a 100 percent synthetic lubricant with Ester Core technology. Its premium raw materials are renewable and developed from the world of racing,” said Welmart Purba, National Sales Director of Motul Indonesia, in a press release quoted on (18/05).

It was further stated that Motul 300V is capable of increasing power by up to 0.25 hp. This figure is equivalent to a 1.16 percent increase from the previous amount.

As proof, Motul used one unit of a Yamaha R25. The peak power performance of this sport-type motorcycle was previously 21.32 hp.

After using Motul 300V, the vehicle's mechanical heart output became 21.57 hp. The increase itself is believed to occur at engine speeds above 11,000 rpm.

Motul Indonesia itself is one of the sponsors of the Mandalika Trackday Experience 2025 event. There, Motul provided free lubricant to the participants.

The Mandalika Trackday Experience 2025 is divided into 3 categories: Beginner, Intermediate, and Pro. Each category is filled with users of sport fairing, naked, and adventure-type motorcycles.

Motul 300V oil is offered with a variety of viscosity options. The available options include SAE 0W30, 5W30, 5W40, 10W40, 10W50 for Racing/Road needs.

Additionally, Motul 300V is also available for Racing/Offroad needs, such as SAE 5W40 and 15W60.

“Besides the quality improvement, the 300V packaging is designed to be more modern and informative to make product identification easier for customers. 300V is not just a product, but an iconic brand from Motul's best line,” concluded Welmart.

Motul 300V lubricant is marketed at a price of around Rp 428 thousand and is already available in various marketplaces.
