Yamaha FreeGo 125 gets new color variants and minor graphic changes, check out the more detailed review.
KatadataOTO – PT YIMM (Yamaha Indonesia Motor Manufacturing) has launched a new color for the scooter Yamaha FreeGo 125: white.
The newest white color variant is combined with a navy blue color on the front fender, headlamp cover, and footboard.
Blue accents are added to the side of the motorcycle, framing the FreeGo lettering and adding to the scooter's eccentric impression.
Not only that, on other color variants, Yamaha has also added a number of changes to make the FreeGo 125 look even more modern.
“We are confident that the changes we bring will be able to increase consumer interest in making the Yamaha FreeGo 125 the best choice for riding,” said Rifki Maulana, Manager of Public Relations, YRA & Community at PT YIMM in an official broadcast, quoted on Monday (09/05).
Besides the white color, the red Yamaha FreeGo 125 Standard gets black graphic accents, the black color type is given a new touch of light blue graphics, while the sand color is combined with red accents.
On the front of the motorcycle's body, the '125' lettering, which was previously vertical, has been changed to horizontal.
The Connected variant also gets a refresh in the form of bold straight lines on the side, fender, and front of the motorcycle. The S emblem is enhanced with a metallic blue accent.
For your information, the Yamaha FreeGo is a scooter that carries a 125 cc Blue Core engine equipped with SMG (Smart Motor Generator), making the engine sound smoother when started.
Advanced features are also available, such as direct front refueling or Smart Front Fuel, so there's no need to bother opening the motorcycle seat.
Then, the Connected type already has a Smart Key System or keyless system and an Answer Back System, making it easier for riders to find their vehicle's parking location.
The highest type is also integrated with Yamaha Motorcycle Connection or Y-Connect technology.
Y-Connect allows FreeGo 125 owners to know the motorcycle's condition in real time and see notification updates from their mobile phones, fuel consumption, and maintenance recommendations.
Regarding the price, the Yamaha FreeGo 125 is sold for around Rp 22.3 million, while the Connected variant is higher at around Rp 24.1 million.
As a note, that figure is the OTR (On The Road) price for Jakarta and is subject to change at any time without prior notice.
