KatadataOTO – Yamaha Indonesia Motor Manufacturing (YIMM) continues to provide updates to their automatic scooter line at the beginning of 2026.
After the Yamaha Xmax previously received a new look, it is now the Lexi LX 155's turn to get a fresh touch this month.
The manufacturer with the tuning fork logo is trying to introduce a number of new colors for their products.
“Yamaha is once again starting the year with new spirit and great optimism to excite the domestic premium scooter market through the launch of new color variants,” said Rifki Maulana, Manager of Public Relations, YRA & Community at YIMM in an official statement, Tuesday (20/01).
Rifki explained that for the highest variant, the Yamaha Lexi LX 155 Connected/ABS, they are replacing the Magma Black color with Ceramic Grey.
This color is combined with black wheels, presenting a premium feel like its siblings, the Yamaha Nmax Turbo Tech Max Ultimate and Xmax.
Then, for the Yamaha Lexi LX 155 S as the middle type, it receives the Sand or sand brown color, complementing the previously offered Elixir Dark Silver.
In addition, Yamaha also provides new graphics for these two variants. The striping design is made bolder and sharper from the front to the rear body.
The identity of this Yamaha automatic scooter is reinforced by the embossed "Lexi" text on the front, and "155 LX" on the rear.
As for the Yamaha Lexi LX 155 Standard, it now comes in a Matte Green color to complement the Metallic Black.
However, the graphics are made more dynamic with simple lines that highlight an elegant impression.
“We will certainly continue to carry out product refreshments like this consistently, so that our products can be continuously updated to follow lifestyle trends and always be relevant in answering consumers' riding needs from time to time,” Rifki affirmed.
For your information, the Yamaha Lexi LX 155 still retains the 155 cc Blue Core SOHC 4-valve engine equipped with VVA.
The mechanical heart is claimed to be able to produce a maximum power of 15.1 hp at 8,000 rpm. Then, the peak torque reaches 14.2 Nm at 6,500 rpm.
The Stop & Start System feature helps with fuel efficiency when the motorcycle is stopped. Meanwhile, the Smart Motor Generator (SMG) makes the engine sound smoother when started.
