KatadataOTOQJMotor continues to entice consumers in Indonesia. Such as by presenting new products.

The brand from China plans to market four new motorcycles in the country in 2026.

“So if we look at consumer response and the existing market, QJMotor wants to provide a new flavor or new products that fill a unique positioning,” said Budi Kurniawan, VP of Branding & Marketing Communication at PT QJMotor Industry Indonesia in South Jakarta, Monday (15/12).

Budi further explained that Indonesia has a fairly large market share for automatic motorcycles. It even records a contribution of up to 90 percent domestically.

Based on this, QJMotor plans to again market products equipped with the Automatic Manual Transmission (AMT) feature.

“It seems we will also do the same thing. Because it's the same segment, but with a different form,” Budi continued.

Judging from Budi's presentation, two of their new motorcycles are in silhouette form. Depicting sport or adventure models.

Meanwhile, the rest are still a question mark. So they are keeping the remaining prospective QJMotor two-wheeled vehicles a secret.

“There's a sport fairing and next to it, maybe some of you know what silhouette is currently popular in the adventure community. As for the engine and other details, maybe later," Budi affirmed.

Budi said that many automotive enthusiasts are inspired to own a sport motorcycle. However, they are constrained by practicality for daily use.

Seeing the facts and the situation above, QJMotor intends to present a variety of two-wheeled vehicles with an AMT transmission system.

Considering the strategy above is deemed successful in opening a new niche. Especially for consumers who want a different sensation from conventional automatic motorcycles.

“So hopefully in 2026 we can provide more choices for consumers, where they will see more of the uniqueness of our products,” Budi concluded.

For your information, thanks to the AMT transmission system, riders can choose between manual or automatic transmission systems just by moving a finger.

So, the launch time of the new QJMotor motorcycles for consumers in Indonesia is worth waiting for.

It is highly likely that their new product launch will be held at the IIMS 2026 event in early February.
