KatadataOTO – PT Piaggio Indonesia has officially introduced its newest product, the Vespa 946 Snake, in the country. The model will be sold in limited quantities.

Its presence is expected to meet the desires of Vespa lovers in the country who want a different look on the streets.

“We cannot disclose the quota, but it is definitely very limited. Because the total production is only 888 units,” said Ayu Hapsari, PR, Communications and Brand Activation Manager of PT Piaggio Indonesia (27/02).

Unfortunately, she did not specify the price that will be set. However, it is likely not much different from last year's Dragon edition.

“For last year's Vespa Dragon, the price was around Rp 260 million. So it will probably be around that,” she said.
She also emphasized that to get one, customers will be treated equally, so there will be no special treatment.

“There will be no name reservations or advance down payments,” she then asserted.

It was previously reported that Piaggio officially launched the Vespa 946 Snake, with only 888 units available worldwide. This motorcycle comes with a winter feel, reflected in the iridescent blue color on the entire body, giving it a cool impression.

The Vespa 946 Snake itself is actually presented to welcome the Year of the Snake in 2025. Therefore, they have also incorporated design elements of the reptile on the throttle grip and seat.

For your information, the automatic Vespa is not much different in form from other 946 series. It still relies on 12-inch rims wrapped in 120/70 tires at the front and 130/70 at the rear.

As for the engine, the Vespa 946 Snake carries a 155 cc engine. It is capable of producing 12.7 hp at 7,750 rpm and a peak torque of 12.8 Nm at 6,500 rpm.
