Wahana Launches New Honda PCX 160 with Attractive Promotions

KatadataOTO – PT Wahana Makmur Sejati, the main dealer for Honda motorcycles in Jakarta – Tangerang, held a Regional Product Launch for the new Honda PCX 160 in the East Jakarta area. This event is expected to introduce the product to the public more optimally.

The new PCX 160 was actually launched by Astra Honda Motor as the sole brand agent (APM) in December 2023. The motorcycle is expected to meet mobility needs in various regions.

“We are optimistic that the new Honda PCX 160 will become the top choice for the people of Jakarta - Tangerang. This model not only provides riding comfort but also meets the needs of a modern lifestyle and is a companion for daily mobility,” said Olivia Widyasuwita, Division Head of Sales at PT Wahana Makmur Sejati (25/01).

At this event, PT Wahana Makmur Sejati also gave the public the opportunity to test its performance directly. Not only that, they also held a number of attractive promos for every vehicle purchase.

“Specifically for purchases in January 2025, we are providing a voucher worth Rp 800,000 for the purchase of accessories and apparel,” she added.

It was previously reported that the latest new Honda PCX 160 comes with several changes from various aspects, including its appearance. The company with the flapping wing logo has a new front and rear light design.

For users of the highest type, a 5-inch TFT meter panel is presented. Furthermore, day and night mode options are provided to increase comfort.

The new Honda PCX 160 still uses the same engine as before, namely a 156.9 cc, 4-valve, liquid-cooled enhanced Smart Power Plus (eSP+) engine.

The power that can be produced is 15 hp at 8,500 rpm and a peak torque of 14.7 Nm at 6,500 rpm.

The top-tier model of the motorcycle is equipped with Roadsync. This feature is a connectivity system that pampers customers during their journey, giving the motorcycle capabilities including navigation, phone, music, messages, and a voice command function.

Each variant of the new Honda PCX 160 has a choice of colors that can be selected according to taste. For the CBS type, the available colors are Exceptional Red, Exceptional Matte Silver, Exceptional White, and Exceptional Black.

Then, the ABS type has Phenomenal Matte Silver, Phenomenal Matte Red, Phenomenal White, and Phenomenal Matte Black. Meanwhile, the Roadsync choices are Roadsync Red and Roadsync Matte Black.
