Yamaha Ensures Sufficient New Motorcycle Stock for Ramadan and Eid al-Fitr 2025

Several parties are preparing to welcome Eid al-Fitr this year. Because usually, ahead of the holiday celebration, the demand for two-wheeled vehicles increases.

“It's normal during Eid, people will definitely want to buy a new (motorcycle),” said Bill Prasetyo Gunawan, Chief DDS III Central Java-DIY of PT YIMM (Yamaha Indonesia Motor Manufacturing) in Yogyakarta some time ago.

Bill revealed that ahead of Eid, there is an increase in sales of two-wheeled vehicles in the Central Java (Jateng) and Yogyakarta areas.

The number is quite large, reaching 15 percent each year. However, Bill was reluctant to mention the exact figure.

Nevertheless, Yamaha has prepared a number of steps to meet the demand for new motorcycles in Central Java and Yogyakarta.

“Actually, during Eid, demand is definitely high, so now we are fulfilling our stock and units first,” he continued.

This way, it is hoped that people can more easily purchase the Yamaha Nmax Turbo, Aerox, Lexi, and others.

So that consumers can use a new two-wheeled vehicle when visiting relatives or for the homecoming trip.

Moreover, various attractive programs have been prepared by Yamaha Central Java. It is hoped that automotive enthusiasts can use a new motorcycle.

“Whether you want to buy in cash or on credit, depending on whether you want an affordable down payment or installments, it's all been prepared at our dealers,” said Bill.

He stated that the phenomenon of many people buying new motorcycles during Eid is common. They experience this every year.

“It's natural that before Eid there will be demand for new motorcycles. And that's a certainty every year,” Bill affirmed.

On the other hand, Bill advises consumers to buy the Yamaha Nmax Turbo and others before Eid 2025.

Considering the relief for PKB (Motor Vehicle Tax) and BBNKB (Vehicle Title Transfer Fee) in Central Java will soon end.

The Central Java provincial government is only providing this relaxation until March 31, 2025. Therefore, he advises consumers to make their purchase now or next month.

“It's better to take advantage of the Eid moment (if you want to buy a motorcycle). It is indeed the peak season as well,” Bill concluded his statement.
