KatadataOTO – Yamaha Jupiter Z1 officially gets new colors and graphics for customers. This refresh is done so that the model can remain competitive in the underbone motorcycle segment.

The new color is Dull Blue, paired with black as the base color, then combined with yellow and navy blue in a chequered flag-style graphic to highlight the Jupiter lettering.

In addition, the Yamaha Jupiter Z1 colors like Metallic Black and Metallic Red are also still retained. However, the Japanese manufacturer has still made some touches to the graphics to give a fresh impression.

For Metallic Red, Yamaha also made changes to the graphics. They also added 'Jupiter' and 'Z1' lettering in gold with a chequered flag accent and bold straight lines.

Meanwhile, Metallic Black comes with graphic accents in the form of bold straight lines in dark blue and light blue. The Jupiter” lettering uses an embossed effect with a red accent.

“The underbone motorcycle segment still has many enthusiasts in various regions of Indonesia. With our latest product, we hope to revive interest in this segment,” said Rifki Maulana, Manager Public Relations, YRA & Community PT Yamaha Indonesia Motor Mfg in his official statement (12/06).

Despite receiving developments in terms of color, the Yamaha Jupiter Z1 still maintains its sporty design. The riding position has also been designed to be ergonomic so that users can maneuver nimbly.

In addition, the Yamaha Jupiter Z1 still retains its signature double headlamp. Thanks to this, the lighting quality is maintained, helping the driver when riding at night.

The manufacturer also still equips the motorcycle with a 100 cc air-cooled 4-stroke SOHC engine. The powerhouse releases 9.9 hp at 7,750 rpm and 9.8 Nm of torque at 6,750 rpm

This performance is supported by Fuel Injection technology, which keeps the engine powerful while being fuel-efficient. The Yamaha Jupiter Z1 is marketed at a price of Rp21.130 million on the road in Jakarta.
