KatadataOTO – Yamalube Turbo Matic was officially launched in conjunction with the Aerox Alpha Track Day 2025 event. The event itself was held at the Sentul Karting circuit, Bogor, West Java (15/01).

The new Yamalube oil is here to complement the variants already on the market. Using the name Yamalube Turbo Matic, it is expected to attract Nmax and Aerox Alpha Turbo users.

“Besides the test ride, Yamaha also wants to introduce a new product to premium scooter enthusiasts. The formula and specs of this new oil can provide maximum benefits,” said Sutarya, Senior Director of Marketing at PT Yamaha Indonesia Motor Manufacturing (YIMM) in Sentul.

Yamalube Turbo Matic is a Full Synthetic type engine lubricant. The target market for this product is said to be Maxi Family users.

Complementing the existing oil variants, its viscosity is SAE 10W-40. Meanwhile, the product quality has achieved the API Service level SN.

Furthermore, this type of lubricant has 3 advantages. The product's advantages are explained as follows.

  1. Maximum Protection : Prevents deposit formation on pistons and sludge buildup, keeping the engine clean and extending its service life.
  2. Maximum Acceleration : The oil formulation supports superior acceleration by ensuring comprehensive protection against deposits.
  3. Maximum Endurance : Through good oxidation stability, it ensures consistent engine performance during long-distance travel and stop-and-go traffic conditions.

“This new oil is the highest variant or flagship model specifically for consumers of Yamaha's premium scooters,” Sutarya then explained.

It is believed that by using Yamalube Turbo Matic, consumers can get more benefits. This is because its service life is longer than the previous product.

According to the manufacturer's recommendation, the oil change interval for Yamaha matic scooters is every 3,000 km. Using Turbo Matic, the replacement can be around 4,000 km.

The new Yamalube lubricant also guarantees better engine performance. Equipped with superior acceleration, engine protection can also be more optimal.

Not only that, Yamalube Turbo Matic is also claimed to withstand harsh conditions in congested traffic like in big cities.

Yamalube Turbo Matic is marketed at a price of Rp 95 thousand. This product is available at all Yamaha service centers and several e-commerce channels.
