KatadataOTO – Many automotive enthusiasts are interested in using old motorcycles. They perform restoration on a number of two-wheeled vehicles.
One of them is the Yamaha Mio Sporty or the first generation with code 5TL, which is currently very popular among the public.
The product from the tuning fork logo manufacturer is in high demand, causing the price of the Yamaha Mio Sporty to soar in the market.
Yamaha also ensures that spare parts for this automatic scooter are still available at their official workshops.
“They are still available (Yamaha Mio Sporty spare parts), in principle, as long as there is demand, we have an obligation to provide them,” said Antonius Widiantoro, Asst. & Marketing Part Operation Division YIMM (Yamaha Indonesia Motor Mfg) when met in Bandung, West Java some time ago.
Anton said that Yamaha continues to provide various components for the automatic scooter. Especially since the demand is still quite high to this day.
Some of the Yamaha Mio Sporty spare parts that can be purchased include components for the engine section. For example, cylinder heads, blocks, pistons, and others.
“The body parts are also still available, such as covers, can still be ordered at our official workshops,” Anton continued.
Anton further revealed that consumers can use various facilities when they want to buy Yamaha Mio Sporty spare parts.
Such as through their official website, so you can check the availability of your motorcycle's spare parts before making a purchase.
“We have the YPEG web or the Yamaha catalog application. So you can see there whether it's still available or not,” Anton affirmed.
However, Anton could not confirm how long Yamaha will provide spare parts for this particular automatic scooter.
But as long as the demand from consumers is high, they ensure they will continue to sell them.
“Sometimes, if there is no more demand for the motorcycle, we stop. But as long as there is demand, we will provide it,” he concluded.
Therefore, he hopes the needs of automotive enthusiasts can be well met by the Japanese manufacturer.
In addition, consumers who want to restore a Yamaha Mio Sporty can easily find the parts they need.
And it can be ensured that they are using genuine spare parts sold by Yamaha at official workshops or on the website and application that have long been provided.
