KatadataOTO – Ahead of Christmas and New Year (Nataru), Yamaha Indonesia Motor Mfg (YIMM) is looking to boost the underbone motorcycle market.

One way is by refreshing the Yamaha MX-King 150 line. They have added new colors and graphics.

This decision not only strengthens its ‘The King of Street’ identity, but also presents an increasingly relevant choice for riders.

Especially for those of you who want to stand out, be full of character, and be more confident on the streets with the Yamaha MX-King 150.

“This motorcycle has always been a symbol of strength and superiority,” said Rifki Maulana, Public Relations, Community & YRA Manager of YIMM, in an official statement on Tuesday (09/12).

Rifki explained that they are presenting two color options for the Yamaha MX-King 150. First is Blue, which makes the motorcycle's appearance more exclusive.

This is because a dominant dark blue combined with black is seen on the body. Then, graphics with red, orange, white, and silver accents are added to create a dynamic impression.

Meanwhile, the use of dark blue rims at the front and black at the rear also serves as a touch that reinforces its masculine impression.

The Yamaha MX-King 150 is also offered in a Silver color. It has a black base color paired with a muted silver and accents of cyan, yellow, and white.

This makes the underbone motorcycle look even more aggressive. Especially since this type uses two matching black-colored rims.

This is to emphasize an aggressive, sturdy, and confident impression, for both the motorcycle and its owner.

On the other hand, the Cyber City color for the Yamaha MX-King 150 is still retained. It is the most iconic variant of the product.

The combination of purple and neon pink creates a bold futuristic impression, complemented by red rims at the front and black at the rear.

As for the mechanical heart, the 150 cc, five-speed, fuel-injected engine is retained.

It is claimed to be capable of producing a maximum power of up to 15.1 hp at 8,500 rpm, and a peak torque of 13.8 Nm at 7,000 rpm.

Yamaha also equips the MX-King 150's engine with a liquid cooling system, which is capable of keeping the engine temperature stable.

It also features a Forged Piston and Diasil Cylinder, making the engine three times more durable, stronger, and lighter.

If you are interested, the price of the Yamaha MX-King 150 remains at Rp 27.7 million. This is the On The Road (OTR) price for DKI Jakarta.
