A total of 121 Yamaha workshops will remain open during the Eid homecoming season, and customers can enjoy a number of promotions.
KatadataOTO – During the month of Ramadan, millions of Indonesians are predicted to make the homecoming journey to their hometowns, specifically 146.48 million people. Of these, 12.74 million choose to use motorcycles.
To accommodate consumer needs during the homecoming season, Yamaha has prepared 121 standby workshops as part of a program titled Raya (Ramadan with Yamaha).
The hope is that Yamaha motorcycle owners making the homecoming journey will not have to worry if they encounter problems on the road.
In addition, there are five mini posts and two guard posts spread across Java, Bali, Sumatra, Kalimantan, and Sulawesi from March 27 to April 2, 2025.
The special guard posts are in Tajur and Nagrek, where travelers on Yamaha and other motorcycle brands can enjoy facilities such as a prayer room, toilets, and a pavilion.
“This year, there are also free motorcycle washes, vitamins, and medicines,” said Hendra Wijaya, Service Manager of PT YIMM (Yamaha Indonesia Motor Manufacturing) in Jakarta, on Friday (21/03).
Then for Yamaha motorcycle owners, various promos are available that can be used when servicing their vehicles during the return trip.
Before Eid, Yamaha is offering a Rp 20,000 discount for the purchase of spark plugs, engine oil, and air filters.
During the Eid period, specifically from March 27 to April 2, 2025, the on-duty workshops and mini posts will provide a 15 percent discount on the purchase of air filters, v-belts, v-belt kits, batteries, NGK spark plugs, tires, and Yamalube oil.
Meanwhile, at the guard posts, a 15 percent discount also applies, but it includes additional promos for apparel and helmets.
Finally, after the Eid period from April 1-30, 2025, Yamaha is offering a savings discount of Rp 25,000 for the purchase of front brake pads, rear brake pads, and engine oil.
There's no need to worry, as Yamaha customers can easily find the locations of guard posts and standby workshops through the updated My Yamaha application.
“Consumers can find the nearest dealer during the holidays, and see which ones are still serving customers,” said Adita, Digital Customer Experience Manager of PT YIMM, on the same occasion.
The application can be used by consumers to collect reward points to be exchanged for additional benefits at official workshops.
