KatadataOTO – Welcoming the new year 2026, Yamaha Indonesia Motor Manufacturing (YIMM) is making a breakthrough in its automatic scooter lineup.

Such as launching new color options for the Yamaha Xmax in the Indonesian market on Wednesday (14/01).

This was done to indulge consumers. It is also a response to the premium scooter line which is currently in high demand.

"In an effort to meet the lifestyle needs of premium scooter lovers in Indonesia, Yamaha continues to innovate its products not only in terms of features, design, and engine performance," said Rifki Maulana, Manager of Public Relations, YRA & Community at YIMM in Pulogadung, Jakarta.

Rifki explained that the new Yamaha Xmax colors include Metallic Blue and Ceramic Grey.

Metallic Blue is Yamaha's authentic signature color. It is a new global color for the Xmax in the European market.

Meanwhile, Ceramic Grey is the same color option used on the highest-tier Xmax Techmax 2025 model.

All these new options for the large Maxi scooter are combined with line striping and a new Xmax logo.

Additionally, there are black wheels on the undercarriage. This adds to the sporty impression of the Yamaha motorcycle.

On the other hand, a new touch on the Metallic Black variant comes with black wheels and an embossed Xmax logo on the rear.

If previously both components used a blue color, they are now black.

This adds a fierce and tough aura to the Yamaha Xmax for consumers in the country.

"We believe these new colors will not only enrich consumer choices but will certainly receive a positive reception," he concluded.

It was further mentioned that the refresh on the Yamaha Xmax is able to reflect a sporty and premium aura.

Thus, it is increasingly in demand by many consumers. Especially for lovers of the premium scooter from Japan.

It should be noted that the Yamaha Xmax is equipped with a 250 cc engine. It is capable of producing 22.8 hp at 7,000 rpm and 24.3 Nm of torque at 5,500 rpm.
