KatadataOTO – The Metro Jaya Regional Police are ready to implement traffic engineering during the 212 Reunion. This step is important because traffic congestion is expected around the National Monument or Monas.

Although the event will only take place from 17:00 WIB to 24:00 WIB, people are expected to start arriving in the afternoon. The number of attendees is also expected to be quite large, requiring the police to implement traffic engineering to maintain public mobility.

The traffic engineering will involve diversions and will be situational. Nevertheless, the public is advised to consider finding alternative routes.

Additionally, it is a good idea to rely on public transportation for mobility. This is, of course, to avoid congestion in the Monas area.

It should be noted that public transportation such as the MRT and LRT will still operate normally. Therefore, attendees can make optimal use of them.
