BP AKR and Shell Run Out of Fuel Stock, Vivo Is Fine

KatadataOTO – It's not just Shell Indonesia that has run out of Fuel Oil (BBM) stock. A similar fate was also experienced by BP AKR.

This one oil and gas company has also been running out of fuel in recent times.

According to information obtained by KatadataOTO at a BP AKR gas station located on Jalan Alternatif Cibubur.

"For BP Ultimate, there has been no delivery from the central office. It's been three weeks (empty)," said a BP AKR salesperson to KatadataOTO today, Wednesday (27/08).

He further stated that a similar condition also occurred at a number of other BP AKR gas stations. They do not have stock for that product.

Even for the BP 92 type of fuel, the stock is reportedly sold out at several locations. So people can no longer buy it.

"For BP 92, thank God we still have it, because we are prioritized. But for other gas stations, it's already empty," he asserted.

The salesperson also did not know when they would receive fuel shipments again.

Just a reminder, this is the second time BP AKR has run out of fuel stock. A similar situation also occurred in early 2025.

Making it difficult for riders to get their products. So they have to switch to using other fuels.

On the other hand, a number of Shell gas stations also do not have fuel stock. Especially for Super, V-Power, and V-Power Nitro+ products.

Just like before, they have not received distribution of Shell Super to V-Power until today. Thus disrupting the operational process.
