KatadataOTO – Besides being known as an action actor, Iko Uwais is an automotive enthusiast. A number of classic cars are in this man's collection.

Several products from mainland Europe are said to adorn the garage of the artist born on February 12, 1983.

“I like classic cars, like from the 1980s. There's a Mercedes-Benz W124, W126, 500 CE, and a W140,” said Iko Uwais in Jakarta, Tuesday (14/1).

Based on the above, Castrol Indonesia chose Iko Uwais as their newest brand ambassador this year.

Iko is considered to represent the values of reliability, toughness, and protection. Thus, he is in line with the lubricant manufacturer.

“With his tough character and extraordinary career journey, Iko Uwais reflects the spirit of Indonesian riders who make every journey a precious moment to be protected and celebrated,” said Amanda Parikesit, Head of Marketing at Castrol Indonesia.

Amanda stated that their collaboration also affirms Castrol Magnatec's commitment to the #JagainTanpaHenti campaign.

Thus, it not only provides protection for the vehicle's engine but also delivers reliable performance in various road conditions.

Then, Castrol also supports car and motorcycle owners in maintaining the quality of their engines. So, there will be many programs prepared.

“This campaign will feature various promotional programs in workshops, consumer activities, and interesting events. We also want to inspire riders to always choose the best products,” she continued.

Castrol is also certain to continue innovating in the future, thus being able to meet the needs of its customers.

Iko Uwais Has Long Used Castrol Oil

On the other hand, Iko stated that he has long relied on Castrol products to meet his vehicles' lubricant needs.

He believes that Castrol brand oil has the technology capable of providing protection to the mechanical heart of the engine.

This artist wants to ensure his four-wheeled vehicles are in prime condition, so he can feel comfortable and safe during the journey.
