KatadataOTO – Dedi Mulyadi, Governor of West Java has officially banned students in West Java from bringing motor vehicles to school. This is stated in Circular Letter number 43/PK.03.04/KESRA.

The Circular Letter regulates education with the Gapura Panca Waluya concept. The goal is to produce students who are cageur, bageur, bener, pinter, singer or healthy, good, right, smart, and agile.

It also states that underage students are prohibited from using motor vehicles. They are asked to optimize public transportation or walk within a range according to each student's physical ability.

However, tolerance will be given to students in remote areas. The aim is to make it easier for students to get to school from their homes.

Rules for Having a Driver's License

It should be noted that driving a car or motorcycle cannot be done carelessly. This is stated in article 18 paragraph 1 of Law number 14 of 1992 concerning Road Traffic and Transportation, which states that every driver of a private or public vehicle must have a Driver's License or SIM.
