Deltalube claims to be preparing a dedicated product for electric vehicles for the Indonesian market.

KatadataOTO – Electrification has spread to various parts of the world. This includes Indonesia, which is also flooded with electric vehicles.
Currently in the country, many models of electric cars are offered by manufacturers to consumers.
This has apparently forced Deltalube to innovate. They are reportedly looking to introduce a special product for EVs (Electric Vehicles).
“We are indeed developing it at the moment (a special product for electric cars),” said Resa Azhara, Marketing Manager of PT TRKM Group in Jakarta some time ago.
Resa confirmed that Deltalube does not want to be left behind in presenting products for environmentally friendly four-wheeled vehicles.
However, Resa was not yet willing to openly reveal what product they are preparing.
“I cannot confirm the specifics yet. But we have now started to diversify products for several electric vehicles,” Resa continued.
Furthermore, Resa also did not want to disclose when this special electric car product from Deltalube will be marketed domestically.
He stated that they are still waiting to see how far EVs will develop in Indonesia in the future.
So that this lubricant manufacturer can present the right and useful products for the owners of electric four-wheeled vehicles.
“We don't know if this (electric cars) will be in demand by the market continuously or if it's just a momentary trend,” Resa asserted.
For your information, it's not just Deltalube that wants to market special products for electric cars. A number of other manufacturers are also doing the same.
As was done by Shell Indonesia some time ago. They have introduced a special lubricant for electric vehicles.
“We have supplied this Shell E-Fluid to electric car manufacturers in the country. However, I cannot mention their names,” said Andri Pratiwa, Managing Director of Lubricants at Shell Indonesia on a separate occasion.
Andri explained that the product has not yet been released to the general market. This is because Shell is still observing the level of interest from owners of electric four-wheeled vehicles.
Whether consumers need electric car lubricants or not. Therefore, they are monitoring the market conditions in the country.
“We have prepared it, if the demand grows, we will launch it soon,” Andri concluded.
