KatadataOTO – PT Jasamarga Transjawa Tol (JTT) is once again carrying out routine maintenance in the form of reconstruction work on the Jakarta-Cikampek toll road section. This step is taken to ensure the quality of the road is maintained.

This is because, based on the company's monitoring, a number of repairs must be carried out. This reconstruction is scheduled to last for a week at a total of four road points.

"This work is a manifestation of the company's commitment to maintaining service quality while providing a safer and more comfortable driving experience," said Amri Sanusi, Senior Manager Representative Office 1 of PT JTT, as reported by Antara.

  • The first point of work is on the On Ramp of the Cikampek Utama 2 Toll Gate in lane 1 towards Cikampek, starting Friday (17/10) at 23:00 WIB until Tuesday (21/10) at 09:00 WIB.
  • Then at the Citarum River Bridge Km 01+517 East Karawang on the Ramp lane towards Jakarta, starting Friday (17/10) at 19:00 WIB until Friday (24/10) at 10:00 WIB.
  • The third point is in the Cikunir On Ramp area in lane 2 towards Cikampek, starting Saturday (18/10) at 13:00 WIB until Monday (20/10) at 05:00 WIB.
  • The last point is at Km 33+982 to Km 32+800 in lanes 1 and 2 towards Jakarta, starting Saturday (18/10) at 09:00 WIB until Friday (24/10) at 10:00 WIB.

"During the work, the Jakarta-Cikampek Toll Road will operate normally in both directions," added Amri Sanusi.

Meanwhile, Ria Marlinda Paallo, VP Corporate Secretary & Legal of PT JTT, revealed that her party has prepared various anticipatory measures to prevent traffic congestion. This is important because there are four points that need to be managed.

"Officers are on standby at the location to manage traffic, narrow the work area, and prepare for a contraflow system if necessary. We are also coordinating with the Highway Patrol Police (PJR) to ensure that the flow of vehicles remains smooth and under control," she said.

The company is also disseminating information about the work through banners and messages on the Dynamic Message Signs (DMS) in both directions of the Jakarta-Cikampek Toll Road. PT JTT has also apologized for any inconvenience that road users may experience during the work process.
