KatadataOTO – Jasa Marga is ready to provide a 30 percent toll rate discount if a traffic diversion occurs at the discretion of the police during the Lebaran return flow. This aims to break up the concentration of vehicle flow and reduce congestion.

The toll road section receiving the special rate is from the Palimanan Toll to Cikampek Utama (Cikatama), becoming the Palimanan Toll to Kalihurip Utama (Kalitama) via the Cileunyi-Sumedang-Dawuan (Cisumdawu) Toll Road.

“We will provide a special incentive, which is another tariff reduction of at least 30 percent. We will discuss this again with the government," said Subakti Syukur, President Director of Jasa Marga, as reported by Antara (05/03).

The toll rate discount will only be given if the police exercise their discretion in traffic engineering by diverting traffic from the Trans-Java route, originally heading to Cikatama via the Cipali toll road, to the Cisumdawu, Padaleunyi, and Cipularang toll roads. Road users will then make their transactions at Kalihurip Utama/Japek Selatan.

"We will discuss this with the Ministry of Transportation and the police because toll road users will certainly pay more due to the diversion. But Jasa Marga promises to ease the burden on toll road users," said Subakti.

The government is indeed paying close attention to this year's Lebaran exodus flow, especially in preparing alternative routes for when congestion occurs during the return flow on the Jakarta-Cikampek Toll Road.

“We have also prepared a traffic diversion from Palimanan to Cikatama, which is usually congested and requires engineering. We will certainly provide special services because there is a rather long diversion," said Subakti.

It was previously reported that Jasa Marga plans to give a 20 percent toll rate discount to travelers.

The discount is given for six days during the 2025 Lebaran holiday period on several toll roads on the island of Java. The program will be held starting from four days before Lebaran, from March 24 - 27, 2025, and two days after Lebaran, from April 8 to 9, 2025.

The roads receiving the discount are the Jakarta-Cikampek toll road, the MBZ elevated toll road, Palikanci, Batang-Semarang, and Semarang ABC. The toll rate discount for long-distance travel requires payment using an e-toll card.
