KatadataOTO – Toll rates for the Bekasi – Cawang – Kampung Melayu, commonly known as Becakayu, officially increased today, Saturday (09/08) at 06:00 AM WIB. The difference varies from Rp 500 to Rp 1000 from the previous fee, depending on the zone and vehicle class.

The decision is claimed to be in accordance with the Decree of the Minister of Public Works Number 685/KPTS/M/2025 dated July 22, 2025. This rate adjustment is expected to help the operator maintain optimal service quality and operations.

“The rate adjustment is carried out as part of sustainable infrastructure management, as well as to maintain optimal service quality and toll road operations,” said Aris Mujiono, President Director of PT Kresna Kusuma Dyandra Marga in a press release (09/08).

The socialization process for the rate adjustment has been carried out for a long time through various communication media. Therefore, it is hoped that the public will not be surprised by the decision.

It is undeniable that since the opening of the Becakayu toll road in 2023, car users have been greatly helped in traveling to Jakarta from Bekasi and vice versa. The route is relatively uncongested, which speeds up travel time compared to using arterial roads or the Jakarta – Cikampek toll road.
