KatadataOTO – People who intend to drive using the Trans-Java toll road should recalculate their travel schedule. This is because PT Jasamarga Transjawa Tol (JTT) is carrying out maintenance at five locations simultaneously.

This situation has the potential to cause traffic congestion, which will certainly increase travel time. However, the company stated that maintenance must be carried out to ensure driving comfort is maintained.

"This activity is part of the company's ongoing commitment to providing safe, comfortable, and smooth journeys for the public," said Amri Sanusi, Senior Manager Representative Office 1 of PT JTT.

These repairs will be carried out from Friday (31/10) to Sunday (9/11) at several points on the Jakarta-Cikampek Toll Road.  However, the activities will not cause the toll road to be closed, so the public can still pass through.

Ria Marlinda Paallo, VP Corporate Secretary & Legal of PT JTT, revealed that a number of anticipatory measures have been prepared to maintain smooth traffic flow. One of these is by stationing officers on standby and narrowing the work area.

"We are also preparing a contraflow scheme if needed, and coordinating with the Highway Patrol Police to ensure traffic flow remains smooth and safe," she said.

The company has announced the planned work through banners at the location and Dynamic Message Signs in both directions of the Jakarta-Cikampek Toll Road to ensure this information is well-communicated to all road users.
