KatadataOTO – The car carrying Alamudin Dimyati Rois, a member of the DPR, had an accident at KM 315 of the Pemalang-Batang toll road in Petarukan, Pemalang Regency. The incident, which occurred early Friday morning, resulted in the deaths of two people.

Reporting from Antara, the incident began when the Toyota Kijang Innova H 1980 CM carrying Alamudin Dimyati Rois was traveling from west to east. Upon arriving at the scene around 02:40 AM WIB, the car was in the right lane attempting to overtake a vehicle in front of it.

"The car tried to overtake from the left, but it turned out there was a truck traveling in the same direction ahead," he said.

The distance between the two vehicles was too close, making a collision unavoidable. The Toyota Kijang used by Alamudin Dimyati Rois then hit the rear of the Fuso truck.
