Shell Gas Stations Run Out of Fuel, Here's the Situation at Vivo and BP AKR

KatadataOTO – A number of private gas stations (SPBU) are reportedly running out of fuel (BBM). This condition has been ongoing for several days.

However, it turns out this is not happening at all filling stations. As experienced by the Vivo gas station in the Kranggan area, Bekasi, West Java.

“No, we have both RON 92 and 90 available,” said one of the sales attendants to KatadataOTO, Friday (31/1).

He even mentioned there are no restrictions for the public. So drivers can buy any amount.

“We haven't experienced it (a shortage), consumers can buy fuel here until their tank is full,” he said.

However, a different situation was experienced by BP AKR. At this private gas station, they have been running out of the BP Ultimate type recently.

Therefore, owners of two-wheeled and four-wheeled vehicles can only buy BP 92 and Ultimate Diesel products.

“The BP Ultimate has been out of stock for about two weeks. We haven't received another shipment yet,” said a salesperson at the BP AKR gas station on Jalan Alternatif Cibubur, Bogor, West Java.

He revealed that this type of fuel is still available elsewhere. However, at that particular gas station, it has been out of stock for a long time.

According to the information he received, this happened due to a delivery delay. It was also caused by limited stock.

A different story was told by a sales attendant at the BP AKR gas station in Gunung Putri, West Java. According to him, several places often run out of BP 92.

“We have everything, that (running out of fuel) happens at the bigger gas stations. Usually, it's the RON 92 that's out of stock,” he said.

For your information, previously a number of Shell gas stations have also been running out of fuel stock recently.

The KatadataOTO team has found this in two different locations. The first was on Jalan Hankam, Kranggan, Bekasi, West Java.

Then the second was at the Shell gas station on Alternatif Cibubur, Bogor, West Java. Causing them to no longer serve purchases.

This condition has been ongoing for three days. Automatically, they are unable to meet the fuel needs of customers in the area.

However, a number of facilities are still operating. For example, Shell Select and the workshop for periodic maintenance.
