KatadataOTO – The Puncak area, Bogor, West Java is still a primary destination for holidays. Because it offers various tourist attractions as well as culinary delights.

Therefore, the Bogor Police, West Java, have prepared a number of traffic engineering schemes. Especially for the Puncak tourist area.

This is important to reduce vehicle buildup. Considering many residents of Jabodetabek (Jakarta, Bogor, Depok, Tangerang, and Bekasi) vacation there.

It has the potential to cause traffic jams in Puncak Bogor. Moreover, the road capacity in that area is also arguably limited.

The police will also implement the Puncak odd-even system. It is hoped that this will provide smooth traffic for the local community and tourists.

The public is also asked to comply with the traffic engineering from the Bogor Police. One way is by paying attention to vehicle license plates.

Make sure it corresponds with today's date. Because officers on site have the right to direct violators to turn back to their area of origin.

Moreover, a number of officers are already on standby at several points. They are ready to take action against violators of the Puncak Bogor odd-even rule in early January 2025.

For your information, the Puncak odd-even schedule in Bogor starts today, Friday (10/1) at 14:00 WIB. It will then end on Sunday (12/1) at 00:00 WIB.

It should be noted that the traffic engineering mentioned above is stipulated in the Minister of Transportation Regulation (Permenhub) of the Republic of Indonesia for the Ciawi-Puncak National Road Number 074 and the Puncak-Cianjur City Border National Road Section Number 075.

On the other hand, the police will also implement the Puncak one-way system. However, it will be held situationally according to the volume of passing vehicles.

If you insist on traveling there, there are a number of alternative routes to Puncak Bogor. Such as the Puncak II and Jonggol roads, as they are usually smoother.
