KatadataOTO – The construction of the LRT Jakarta phase 1B Velodrome – Manggarai route is expected to disrupt public mobility. This is because a number of traffic diversions must be implemented, affecting Transjakarta routes.

Reporting from Antara, Transjakarta will implement diversions on several service routes starting from January 27, 2025 - August 31, 2026. The affected routes are Pulogadung - Galunggung (Corridor 4), Pulogadung - Kuningan (4D), Manggarai Station - Blok M (6M), and Manggarai Station - Universitas Indonesia (4B).

For the Pulogadung - Galunggung (Corridor 4) route, vehicles that would normally go straight to Galunggung must make a U-turn at the Manggarai Terminal Bus Stop towards Dr. Saharjo street. Then, they will make another U-turn at Toba Dream towards West Minangkabau, then head to Sultan Agung and so on until Galunggung.

Then, for the Pulogadung - Kuningan (4D) route, after the Manggarai Bus Stop towards Galunggung, it will make a U-turn in front of Toba Dream towards West Minangkabau, then to Sultan Agung and so on.

Next, for the Manggarai Station - Blok M (6M) route, after the Manggarai Bus Stop towards Galunggung, it will make a U-turn in front of Toba Dream towards West Minangkabau street to get to Sultan Agung and so on.

Then, the Manggarai Station - Universitas Indonesia (4B) route. To get to Manggarai Station from UI, take West Minangkabau until the Sultan Agung traffic light (TL), turn left towards the Pasar Rumput bus stop, then make a U-turn to Manggarai Station.

Specifically for the Pulogadung - Galunggung (Corridor 4), Pulogadung - Kuningan (4D), and Manggarai Station - Blok M (6M) routes from Galunggung, Blok M, and Kuningan towards Manggarai, they will follow the traffic flow from the West/Galunggung towards Tambak/Matraman.

"There will be an adjustment to the platform gate at the Manggarai bus stop towards Galunggung, but customers need not worry as all Transjakarta routes are operating normally,” said Ayu Wardhani, Head of PR and CSR for Transjakarta, as reported by Antara (29/01).

She also urged the public who regularly use Transjakarta to adjust their travel plans. This is because traffic congestion is likely to occur at several points.
