First Ride Suzuki Satria Pro, Fast Underbone But Docile

KatadataOTO – Suzuki Satria gets a refresh to entice consumers in the country. This time, the motorcycle is marketed in two variant options.

In addition to the Suzuki Satria F150, the Suzuki Satria Pro is also offered. The latter version is said to be equipped with more modern features.

Taking place at the Sentul Karting Circuit, Bogor, West Java, the unit launch was followed by a test ride session. KatadataOTO was one of the participants who tried the Suzuki Satria Pro.

The event location was chosen to prove the performance reliability of the new iron horse from PT SIM (Suzuki Indomobil Motor). Moreover, there are features that can pamper the riders.

The Suzuki Satria Pro is equipped with SCAS (Suzuki Clutch Assist System), the term for the Slipper Clutch Assist feature. Its function is to make gear shifting, both up and down, easier.

Proven during the test ride session, we felt smooth gear shifts. As a result, the moments when entering and exiting corners became more comfortable.

Even when performing extreme gear shifts. The motorcycle remained obedient to the rider's control.

The SCAS feature will also make it easier for riders on congested urban roads. Because the hand does not get tired easily from pulling the clutch.

The steering angle itself reaches 45 degrees, making the motorcycle more enjoyable to use when navigating through dense traffic.

Furthermore, SCAS is also a source of pride. Because no competitor in its class uses a slipper clutch feature.

Since it was first launched in Indonesia, the Satria F150 has been known for its slim body advantage. Although in the Pro variant, there is a slight widening of the body.

On the Suzuki Satria Pro, it is mentioned that there is a slight increase in dimensions. Especially, the width of the motorcycle increases because the headlamp is larger.
