BMW Won't Focus Solely on EV Production, Will Still Make Gasoline and Hydrogen Cars
BMW states it is unwilling to focus on developing EVs; instead, they prefer to continue producing gasoline and hydrogen cars.

Therefore, BMW does not want to focus too much on developing the EV segment. They will continue to produce ICE (Internal Combustion Engine) and hydrogen cars.
“Policymakers are starting to change their minds, the new German federal government supports a broad approach to technology. Meanwhile, the European Commission is trying to make Europe more competitive,” Zipse emphasized.

Partnering with Toyota to Make Hydrogen Cars
For your information, BMW has already collaborated with Toyota to develop hydrogen-fueled four-wheeled vehicles.
As a first step, the German brand is ready to launch its first model in 2028.
“I am pleased that the collaboration between Toyota and BMW has entered a new phase,” said Koji Sato, President of Toyota, last September.
For BMW, this collaboration is quite beneficial. Because they are one of the most consistent German brands in developing hydrogen cars.
