BYD Factory to Operate Early 2026, Atto 1 a Priority
BYD Atto 1 has the potential to become the first electric car produced at the factory in the Subang area, West Java.

According to Luther, they will prioritize the electric four-wheeled vehicle with the largest sales volume.
Thus, the opportunity for the BYD Atto 1 is wide open. This is because thousands of units have been ordered since it was launched at GIIAS 2025.
“Because this is dynamic, we are still observing the movement of the Atto 1. It could be one of the priorities,” said Luther.
So it remains to be seen how the presence of the BYD factory will bring a positive impact to the country's automotive industry.
