KatadataOTO – GIIAS 2025 has officially ended, and there are newcomers worth considering if you want to buy an electric car. One of them is the BYD Atto 1.

The product is touted as one of the cheapest electric cars in the world, currently sold for around Rp 195 million for the lowest trim.

Meanwhile, other Chinese manufacturers like Maxus have decided to adjust the prices of their Multi-Purpose Vehicles (MPVs). The Mifa 9's price even dropped by up to Rp 200 million.

The compact electric car options were also enlivened by GAC Aion. There's the Aion UT, whose price has not been officially announced in detail at GIIAS 2025, but it is in the range of Rp 300 million.

Wuling still offers electric cars with prices starting from Rp 195 million. Although there was a price adjustment at GIIAS 2025, a brand representative confirmed that the official prices are listed on their official website.

Not only Chinese manufacturers, the Vietnamese brand VinFast also brought its new product, the VF 7.

The electric car, which enlivens the compact Sport Utility Vehicle (SUV) segment, is offered starting from Rp 499 million on the road in Jakarta.

Meanwhile, Toyota showcased the locally assembled bZ4X at GIIAS 2025. The brand with the T logo is still keeping the price information under wraps, but it is believed to be under Rp 1 billion.

Based on KatadataOTO's search on Monday (11/08), electric car prices this month tend to be stable. Only a few products have experienced a price decrease.
