No price changes have been made in January 2025 yet; here's a summary of the latest electric car price list.
KatadataOTO – Electric cars can be an attractive option for people who want to switch from conventional vehicles. Currently, their prices vary, starting from Rp 179 million up to Rp 1 billion and above.
Not only that, BEVs (Battery Electric Vehicles) also offer their own advantages for their owners. Because they are not subject to PKB (Motor Vehicle Tax) and BBNKB (Vehicle Title Transfer Fee).
This provision refers to the policy in Law Number 1 of 2022 concerning HKPD (Financial Relations between the Central Government and Regional Governments).
Meanwhile, according to Law Number 28 of 2009 concerning Regional Taxes and Regional Levies, BEVs are still subject to PKB and BBNKB, but there is a reduction in the amount of the DPP (Tax Imposition Base).
If you want a compact electric car with a competitive price, there is the Wuling Air ev. Its lowest model is the Air ev Lite Standard Range, sold for Rp 179.1 million.
Then there are many newcomers in the three-row, larger MPV (Multi-Purpose Vehicle) segment, suitable for the mobility needs of urban families.
For example, the BYD M6 starts from Rp 379 million. Its newest rival is the Aletra, priced not much differently in the range of Rp 400 million and above.
Based on KatadataOTO's search on Monday (6/1), there have been no changes to the electric car prices offered to consumers.
