Gauging Jetour T2's Price in Indonesia, Set to Rival Chery J6

Using this metric, there is a chance the Jetour T2 will also be sold in a similar price range.

Referring to the same Minister of Home Affairs Regulation, three variants of the Jetour T2 will be marketed to consumers in the country.

First, the Jetour T2 with a 1,500 cc engine option and 4x2 drive. Its listed NJKB is IDR 275 million.

The next type is the Jetour T2 with a 2,000 cc engine and all-wheel drive, valued at IDR 295 million.

Lastly is the Plug-in Hybrid Electric Vehicle (PHEV) version of the T2, which has the highest value at IDR 305 million.

If we use the NJKB-to-final-selling-price difference of the Chery J6, the Jetour T2 has the potential to be sold at a similar price, from IDR 500 million to IDR 600 million.

For your information, the first right-hand drive Jetour T2 in the global market is planned to be sold for the first time in Indonesia.

A Jetour representative has confirmed that the Jetour T2 will be available in gasoline engine and PHEV variants.

"According to the roadmap, when we launch the Jetour T2, the introduction will be in stages, Internal Combustion Engine (ICE) and PHEV, as it is globally," said Moch. Ranggy Radiansyah, Marketing Director of Jetour Motor Indonesia in Jakarta some time ago.

The Offroad Travel Series is intended to target consumers who are interested in sporty family cars that can handle various road terrains and long distances.

Besides the Chery J6, a similar model in the same class is the BAIC BJ30 Hybrid. Its price tag is from IDR 499 million to IDR 575 million on the road in Jakarta.
