Furthermore, in 2028, the government will audit the compliance of production with the number of CBU imports from BYD, Xpeng, VinFast, and others.
Whether they have met the above requirements or not. If not, the government can cash the bank guarantee to pay the participant's production debt to the state.
As a reminder, the policy requiring manufacturers who market CBU products and utilize electric car incentives to invest is stipulated in the Minister of Investment Regulation (Permeninves) No. 6 of 2023.

This assistance also applies to conventional car manufacturers who intend to switch production to electric four-wheeled vehicles.
At least six electric car manufacturers are participating in the program. Such as BYD Auto Indonesia and VinFast Automobile Indonesia
Then there are also Geely Motor Indonesia, Xpeng, National Assemblers (Aion, Citroen, Maxus and VW) and Inchcape Indomobil Energi Baru (GWM Ora).
