KatadataOTO – BYD M6 remains the best-selling electric car in Indonesia as of January 2025. Based on Gaikindo data, the model's wholesales recorded sales figures of 581 units.
The high sales figures show that BYD's strategy in developing the car market is on the right track.
The BYD M6 comes in several variants, namely Standard, Superior, and Superior Captain. The highest variant has a 6-seater configuration and is already equipped with Captain Seats.
It should be noted that the BYD M6 Standard uses a 55.4 kWh battery. Thanks to this, the vehicle's range can reach 420 km on a single charge.
For those who want more peace of mind, customers can choose the Superior variant. This type uses a 71.8 kWh battery and can be driven for up to 530 km.
To support comfort and safety, this product is equipped with various modern features. Such as a complete ADAS (Advanced Driver Assistance System) in all types.
Then for entertainment, wireless Android Auto and Apple CarPlay are provided. So owners can connect to the car via their smart devices.
For customers who want to purchase a vehicle at the Indonesia International Motor Show (IIMS) 2025, the manufacturer has provided various conveniences. This is because they have partnered with a number of financing companies.
