Chery Responds to the Proposal for Ethanol-Blended Fuel Implementation

Several car brands experienced a decline in retail sales in July 2025, with Chery plummeting by 20.6 percent.
He also highlighted that a lot of public funds are being directed towards gold investments, rather than consumption or risky assets.
“This makes the price-sensitive segment very fragile. Including the new Low Cost Green Car (LCGC) and Low Multi Purpose Vehicle (LMPV),” said Josua.
He further revealed that LCGC sales have plummeted by almost 50 percent, an indication that the purchasing power of the lower class is severely affected.
